We've organized our support staff into specialized roles in order to provide better service for our clients. In addition, our firm has a pre-litigation department and a litigation department to move your case forward more efficiently. And if you ever have a question, there is always somebody here during office hours who can talk to you about your case.
We have a family atmosphere here, and that's no accident. Many members of our firm have other family members that work in our offices. That sense of family extends to how we interact with clients. You will always be treated with respect and our staff will always be responsive to your needs.

Courtney Adams, File Opening Specialist
Courtney began working for Kotlar, Hernandez & Cohen, LLC in 2017. She opens all new workers’ compensation files. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and exploring new cities.
Destiny Beauchamps, Paralegal
Destiny started with the firm in 2016. She grew up in Philadelphia, PA and now resides in New Jersey. She graduated from Harris School of Business with a certification in Legal Assistance. Currently a paralegal in the workers’ compensation department. Destiny enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends.
Ana Carrion, File Clerk
Ana is a retired teacher from the Camden City Board of Education in Camden NJ, who taught early childhood education, elementary school and English as a second language for 30 years. Ana has a BA in history from Rutgers and is certified by the State of New Jersey. She has been working in our office as our file clerk, as well as handling preparation of new client folders. She is also bilingual in English and Spanish.
Leslie Castagna, Paralegal
Leslie grew up in South Philadelphia and now resides in New Jersey. She graduated from Stockton University in 2004 with a bachelor of science degree. She joined Kotlar, Hernandez & Cohen, LLC as a Legal Assistant in 2004. Leslie specializes in the areas of Real Estate and Estate Planning as well as Municipal Court. She strives to provide reliable and efficient assistance and a listening ear to our clients.
Rosemarie Chuplis-Wright, Paralegal
Rosemarie started with the firm in 2017. She has a background in Social Security law, respondent workers' compensation and now petitioner's workers' compensation. Her hobbies include family time and Disney movies.
Elizabeth Daly, Legal Assistant
Elizabeth graduated with her bachelor’s degree from Rowan University in May of 2019 and started working for Kotlar, Hernandez & Cohen, LLC in July. She specializes in personal injury matters. She aspires to go back to school to achieve her Juris Doctorate degree in the near future. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Amanda Danze, Paralegal
Amanda joined the Kotlar, Hernandez & Cohen, LLC in 2007. She graduated from Gloucester County College with a degree in paralegal studies. Amanda grew up in West Deptford, New Jersey.
Rosemarie DiBartolomeo, Paralegal
Rosemarie has been in the legal profession for 20 years. Her professional background includes multiple areas of law with her primary focus in personal injury. She is a paralegal in the pre-litigation and litigation departments and handles files from inception through the end of litigation. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and three grown children.
Rebecca Gallicchio, Receptionist
Rebecca graduated from Rider University in 2012 with a bachelor of sciences degree. She joined Kotlar, Hernandez & Cohen, LLC as a receptionist in 2019. She enjoys hiking, being outside, organizing and spending time with friends and family.
Taylor graduated from Rutgers University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree. She has a background in Respondent’s Workers’ Compensation and now Petitioner’s Workers’ Compensation. She joined the firm in 2019.
Jennifer Kaup, Intake Specialist
As the intake and referral specialist, Jennifer gets to speak with every person who calls looking for legal guidance. She started with the firm in 2016 and enjoys her job because she gets to take the time to hear each person's story and let them know that they aren't alone in their legal troubles. After going to school to prepare for a job in the dental field, she decided to find a career that allowed her to help people. In her free time, she loves to keep her mind sharp with brain puzzles, especially Einstein Riddles.
Dorothy (Dee) Lipiec, Paralegal
Dorothy has been a paralegal for 45 years. She lives with her husband John and loves reading murder mysteries.
Daniela Muniz, Paralegal
Daniela grew up in Chihuahua, Mexico. She graduated from Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua with a Juris Doctor. Daniela moved to New Jersey in 2011 and began working for Kotlar, Hernandez & Cohen, LLC in 2017. She is a paralegal in the pre-litigation department and handles files from the opening until settlement or before the file is transferred to the litigation department. Daniela assists all departments in the office with English-to-Spanish and Spanish-to-English translation.
Michele Nater, Paralegal
Michele Nater has over twenty-one years of experience in the legal field. She is a bilingual paralegal with a background in workers’ compensation, personal injury and social security disability law. Michele is passionate about helping clients and families navigate the workers’ compensation process, especially after having had their claims denied. She is committed team member of Kotlar, Hernandez and Cohen and is dedicated to helping clients secure the benefits they need. She has been married for 23 years to Henry and they have two children.
Kendra O'Leary, Litigation Paralegal
Kendra has been in the legal profession for 18 years. She specializes in personal injury matters, with a focus on catastrophic losses. She graduated magna cum laude from Philadelphia College of Textile and Science in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in pre-law and international business. Outside of work, Kendra enjoys spending time with her three children and serves as an assistant coach on her youngest son's travel soccer team.
Christina Ortiz, Document Scanner
Christina was born and raised in Washington Township, New Jersey and joined Kotlar, Hernandez & Cohen, LLC in May 2017. She enjoys speaking with clients and helping them with all of their needs.
Maria Quinones, Bilingual Intake Specialist/ Marketing
Maria joined the Kotlar, Hernandez & Cohen LLC family in 2019. She has an extensive background in Marketing and Graphic Web Design, as well as Customer Service. Maria has two passions in her life, her loved ones and creating art.
Maggie Rios, Paralegal
Maggie is a Workers’ Compensation paralegal. She focuses her job on assisting the injured worker to ensure that all benefits mandated under the law are provided to them. She has been in customer service for about 10-plus years. Maggie grew up in a law firm and it is where she always wanted to be, helping people. She enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Jose "Tony" Rodriguez, Mobile Intake Specialist/Paralegal
Jose "Tony" Rodriguez is our Mobile Intake Specialist/Paralegal who has been working for our office for 3 years. Tony has 20+ years of customer service experience in various industries. His experience includes teaching English as a second language and translations. He has a vast knowledge of workers' compensation injury claims, personal injury claims, Social Security, Medicaid and immigration law. Tony is bilingual in English and Spanish. In his spare time, he enjoys reading and shooting pool.
Jolene began working at Kotlar, Hernandez & Cohen, LLC in November of 2018. She graduated from Mercer County Community College in 2001 with an associate degree in early education. Jolene began working in a law office in 2002 and has worked for both Respondent and Petitioner’s in workers’ compensation matters. In her free time, she enjoys going to Cape May on the weekends, day trips to new places and enjoys going to concerts and amusement parks with her nephew.
Dot Salas, Paralegal
Dot started with the firm in 2016. Her professional background includes all forms of litigation for workers' comp, auto, slip and falls and medical malpractice cases as well as appellate, municipal court and landlord/tenant cases. Dot has experience with all stages of litigation from intake to arbitration, mediation, settlement or trial.
Chelsey Scotten, Medical Coordinator
Chelsey started with the firm in 2008. She schedules and handles all doctors’ appointments for workers’ compensation clients, including those for permanency evaluations and need-for-treatment evaluations. She also manages the workers’ compensation court hearings calendar for the office and closes out workers’ compensation cases when they are settled. She likes to travel to different cities and countries.
Kris Scotten, Paralegal
Kris grew up in Edgewater Park, New Jersey and joined Kotlar, Hernandez & Cohen, LLC in 2003. She has been in the legal profession for over 40 years and her professional background includes personal injury, both pre-lit and litigation, as well as family law. Kris assists Sherry Cohen with all phases of the pre-litigation department.
Anne Seguin, Litigation Paralegal
Anne started with the firm in September 2014 and is a litigation paralegal specializing in personal injury cases. Prior to joining our firm, Anne was a supervisor in a call center before completing a Legal Office Technology course. She graduated with a 4.0 GPA and completed an internship with the Camden County Prosecutor's Office. In her spare time, Anne enjoys spending time with her family.
Kelsey Seguin, Paralegal
Kelsey began working for Kotlar, Hernandez & Cohen in August 2018. She has an Associate Degree in Computer Sciences and comes with 7 years of experience providing excellent customer service. Kelsey is a paralegal in the pre-litigation department and assists Sherry Cohen with all phases of the pre-litigation process. She enjoys helping people and spending quality time with her family.
Pat Solin, Quality Control Manager
Pat joined the firm in 2016. She performs case audits and completes special projects in support of staff and attorneys. Pat is a professional librarian who has had a varied career ranging from a job as director of a local hospital library to 10 years as a school librarian. In her free time, she enjoys researching and writing articles for her local historical society.
Kimberly Spencer, Paralegal
Kim is a workers’ compensation paralegal and has been working in law firms for 34 years. She works hard for the petitioner in all work-related matters. Kim gives our clients the best personal attention and makes sure they are getting all their workers’ compensation benefits, as required by the law.
Kim has been married to her husband, Bob, for 27 years and has two beautiful daughters. She enjoys camping, the beach, hanging with friends and family, and travel.
Denise Straub, Office Manager
Denise has more than 30 years of experience working in the accounting and human resources fields. She handles the firm's accounting, payroll, financial planning and human resource functions. Denise has managed multiple offices and overseen 70+ employees for several large companies during her career. Denise enjoys spending time with her two young adult sons. In her spare time, she volunteers, dances and sings karaoke.
Allison Whelan, Paralegal
Allison joined the firm in 2015 and assists attorney Timothy Search in the workers' compensation department. She previously worked for a firm in Woodbury. When not working, Allison enjoys camping and outdoorsy activities with her family, and also likes to travel.
Samantha Whelan, File Clerk
Samantha is an intern in our office working primarily as a file clerk and assisting with our file opening process. She is a full time honor student at Overbrook Regional High School. She is on the fast track to an early graduation and will begin college in the fall of 2018. Samantha enjoys being outdoors, hiking, boating and camping with her mother, Allison, who is a paralegal in our workers' compensation department.
